Choose a package and your move date. We confirm within 24 hours and send a secure card payment link for the hire and a refundable deposit.
We drop them off
Boxes and a dolly arrive a few days before you move, on a weekday evening or Saturday morning.
We collect them
Unpack at your new place and we pick up the empties. Your deposit is refunded the same week.

Questions
How big are the boxes?
Each box holds 60 litres, about the same as two large supermarket bags. Lids clip shut with the handles, and you can add a cable tie for security.
How much can I put in each box?
Up to 20kg per box, so put heavy things like books at the bottom and keep each box liftable by one person. We may repack or refuse overweight boxes at collection.
What if I need them longer?
Extra weeks are £10 on the flat move and £15 on the house move. Storage hires can be extended at our monthly rates, from £3 per box per month. Let us know as early as you can so we can fit around other bookings.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit is £4 per box, paid when you book. We refund it in full once everything is back. Missing or broken items are charged at £15 per box and £5 per lid, taken from the deposit first and then from the card you booked with.
Can I hire boxes to store things at home?
Yes. Choose "My own number of boxes" and hire any number from 5 upwards, from 2 weeks to 12 months. It's £4 per box per month for 1 to 2 months, £3.50 for 3 to 5 months and £3 for 6 months or more. The boxes stay with you.
Can I keep the boxes?
Yes. If you decide you need them for good, you can buy any box you're hiring for £20, lid included, and your £4 deposit goes towards it. No repacking needed. Just let us know before your collection date.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. We supply boxes for stock, archiving and office moves, and can bill monthly by card on hires of 3 months or more. Email hello@redfoxbox.co.uk.
